Telecommunication Sales Engineer

Salary: Rs150,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month

Job Responsibilities:

  • Research, compose and deliver responses to RFIs, RFQs and RFPs. Interact with clients to clarify requirements
  • Provide technical support to Sales throughout the sales cycle to drive opportunities
  • Deliver and customize technical presentations on vendor products using virtual technologies
  • Build new presentations for sales and other consultation that emphasise the value of services solutions
  • Relate customer stories that show the value of solutions while adapting to persona based use cases
  • Understand product capabilities, limitations and implementation
  • Actively participate in sales calls involving complex technical requirements or multiple hardware platforms
  • Identify and develop innovative solutions to customer requirements. Also is responsible for explaining and researching the technical capabilities of vendor's products verses our competition
  • Assist in developing competitive product white papers for sales and consultation
  • Can focus on sales opportunity ranging from smaller or single solution to large or complex sales opportunities requiring complex solutions
  • Work with the sales representative with little supervision to define sales and technical strategies in dealing with the client
  • Perform Proof of Concept to demonstrate product capability
  • Channel/Partner enablement to ensure capable Partners
  • Generate timely status reports, time usage reports and expense reports as requested by management
  • Collect business and technical information from clients regarding requirements. Determines whether customer solutions can technically satisfy these requirements. Confer with the sales representative, technical and sales management on these observations
  • Design and build customized demonstrations of solutions for prospective clients possibly using pre-production. Present and deliver these demonstrations to clients


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant IT field from COMSAT/MAJU/MUET/NED/NUST/NUT/UET/NUML will be preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the relevant domain
  • CCNA CCNP or any relevant Networking Certification
  • JNCIA (JUNOS is Juniper Basic Network Certificate)
  • PMP is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant IT field, along with the certification of CCNA, CCNP or in similar domain.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Pre-Sales
  • Pre-Sales experience with IT Infrastructure solutions such as storage, HCP, HCI
  • Hands on Experience with Industry’s Leading Vendors/Customers such as Hitachi Vantara, SUSE, BMC (ITSM) or equivalent solutions from Oracle, SAP, IBM, NetApp, Cisco, Brocade, HP, Dell EMC, Red Hat
  • Ability to communicate technical and business information to a varied audience (technical and non-technical customers)
  • Ability to develop a broad awareness of the client's technical architecture and emerging technologies with enough knowledge to determine what is and is not possible
  • Analyze customer needs and implement solutions through research and troubleshooting and recommending a solution
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship-building skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical ability
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to keep an audience engaged over virtual telecommunication methods
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical ability
  • Substantial experience working in an enterprise-type software consulting, implementation, and training experience a plus
  • Capable of pro-actively driving sales enablement and initiatives
  • Analyze customer needs and implement solutions through research and troubleshooting and recommending a solution understanding the customer’s business of IT
  • Fluent English is required
