Job description:
Carry out research on complex accounting matters (US GAAP and IFRSs) to ensure suitable application of authoritative accounting guidance
Implement accounting rules and interpretations within the given timeframe
Present issues, options, and recommendations to management around accounting interpretation
Work with subsidiaries and help them implement process improvements. Also, access their accounting matters and suggest improvements
Build a strong control environment within-group and subsidiary level
Ensure controls over financial reporting are redesigned as necessary.
Build relationships with many stakeholders from all areas of the organization in order to be successful with implementations and executions - Executive Team, Finance, Operations, IT, sales, and others
Ensure timely monthly and annual closing
Lead External audits and ensures successful completion
Help lead coordination, review, and analysis of valuations prepared by external consultants related to business combinations.
Carry out financial reporting and consolidations
Build a strong accounting department
Lead process improvement initiatives that allow for faster processing of transactions to help with business needs

Qualification:

Professional Qualification Chartered Accountant, ACCA, CPA
Knowledge of US GAAP mandatory
Post qualification experience of 3-5 years
